Brisbane Botanic Gardens – Mt-Coot-tha

(known as ‘Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens’ before 1994)

Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mount Coot-tha are familiar as Queensland’s premier botanic gardens. It was established 1970and The 52 hectare gardens, located on Mt Coot-tha Road at Toowong, are open every day of the year between 8am – 5pm .

You can see the many attractions in the gardens such as:-

Botanic Gardens' facilities and services

Enjoy the facilities at the City Botanic Gardens, including a range of picnic points. The City Botanic Gardens are popular for weddings and other functions.

Picnic areas

The open grassed picnic area, with a protected exhibition area, is at the back of the City Botanic Gardens opposite QUT. Limited car parking is available.

Picnic tables and seats in the shade areas are located all over the gardens and along the riverbank. There are numerous picnic sites include the Royal Palms Lawn, and areas around the playground.

The Gardens Club

The City Gardens Cafe has reopened in the historic and now called The Gardens Club. It is operated by the Wise Foundation Now a Day , coffee, drinks ,juices snakes and food are available from The Gardens Club from 8am-4pm daily.

Weddings and functions

The City Botanic Gardens offer beautiful settings for weddings and other functions. It’s an extensive space for all of this and management organize all the thing in good way.

Visit the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha for immense events. You can found workshops for children and adults You can also sign up for shooting workshops and classes or check out the displays and exhibitions.There is no garden fees. Dogs are not allowed in the Gardens.
