Brisbane Open Air cinema

If you are searching for a fun way to enjoy the warmer weather as we head into summer then look no further! Until November 15,2015 South Bank’s Rainforest Green is home to Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas. With music by day and movies at night you are sure to have a good time.

Relax and enjoy gourmet food cooked on site and a drink from the licensed bar. Tunes from local musicians will set the mood until the sun sets. Stay after dark, chill out under the stars and enjoy the openair cinema. You can do this from Tuesday to Sunday.

Every Sunday is a Sundae Session with live music, games on the lawn with prizes to be won and free Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream for all before the screening under the stars. If you are feeling nostalgic then you best head on over on Tuesday 20th October when they will be screening ‘Grease Sing a Long’.

Secure parking is available at Secure Parking SW1 (32 Cordelia Street) and is only a short walk away. You will need to pre-book your parking online at Secure-a-Spot. The cost is $5 using the code ‘OPENAIR’. Public transport is a great way to get around and saves you having to sort out parking. You can plan your trip using the Translink website. If you are planning to drink, please make plans to get home safely and do not get behind the wheel.
