This event Presented by the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with GOSFORD CITY COUNCIL and ETTALONG DIGGERS.
The Brisbane Water Oyster Festival was established in 2000 by the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce to showcase the beautiful waterways of the Woy Woy Peninsula and our largest main industry, the oyster agricultural industry. The annual Oyster Festival proudly supports the Central Coast’s Primary Industry of Oyster Farming is held at the beautiful scenic Ettalong Beach on the NSW Central Coast.
If you want a more taste than just oysters, the day includes good wine from neighbors in the Hunter Valley and food from around the world.
There will be live entertainment all day on the open stage, plus wandering entertainment throughout the event.
The day start with a program of entertainment with live on stage entertainment as well as path entertainment.
Enter the ‘How Many Oysters Can You Eat in 30 Seconds Competition’ for your chance to win great prizes while sampling the best oysters in town.
We welcome our Oyster Festival partners Gosford City Council and the Ettalong Beach Club.
This year, stall owners, entertainers and audiences alike will be able to enjoy the Gosford City Council approximately 1$5.2 million Ettalong Foreshore revival. It’s a great open space for all the public, with children’s play equipment and picnic area.The annual celebration paying homage to the marvelous mollusc will also see a raft of entertainment and the chance to win a new boat.Aqua Events is currently taking sponsorship requests.
There will be many stalls – food, wine, oysters, art and craft and kidz activity:-At lunch get ready to taste food from around the world – Lebanese, Turkish, Vietnamese, Spanish, French, German, a good old fashioned Aussie BBQ and our home grown Oysters.For the sweet tooth – Waffles, Pudding, Ice Cream, Chilli Chocolate, Donuts, slush, fairy floss and licorice. For the Coffee and tea there is the best coffee, natural tea and natural juices. For the kids ,horse Riding, Bungee Jumping, Amusement Rides, show bags, and kids playing center.
